RE: New Registration Fee
Our Governing Body, Gymnastics Ireland called a meeting in July 2016 with all registered clubs regarding a proposed significant increase in Public Liability Insurance Fees for the coming season. For DyNamo Gym Club to remain a registered club with Gymnastics Ireland, and in the interested of all our members, we must comply with the new requirement to pay this increased fee. For your information, DyNamo Gym Club were charged the following fee over the last number of years from Gymnastics Ireland for Public Liability Insurance;
• €365 Public Liability- Sep 2007
• €565 Public Liability – Sep 2015
• €3000 Public Liability – Sep 2016
As well as this, DyNamo Gym Club is required to pay a personal accident insurance cover for each registered member. Unfortunately in order to cover this significant fee increase, we are required to increase our annual Registration fee. We do understand this is not good news, and very challenging situation for us as a voluntary club, but hope that parents of our club members will support our efforts to abide by Gymnastics Ireland’s Rules and Regulations.
Our registration for current members will take place this Friday from 6.00 to 7.30pm.
All members must register and pay the new registration fee on this date. Any members who do not register will be deemed to have left and their place will be offered to those still waiting on our previous waiting list or at an Open registration.
Please advise us by email if any gymnast does not wish to continue this term, so that we can offer their place to those who are waiting. If you have any other queries please email dynamogymclub@gmail.com.
