Well done to our all our gymnasts who competed at the National Acrobatic Gymnastics Finals on the 7th and 8th May 2016. Our Grade 6 Mixed Pair, David and Aoibhinn won the National Title, and our Grade 5 Men’s Pair Conor and Pauric took a National Silver medal home. DyNamo gymnasts took 3 Gold Medals at the National Tumbling League Qualifiers held in Limerick on the 23rd April. Each gymnast performed two dynamic tumbles runs, with 3 male competitors, including Neo Coyle, Pauric O’Reilly and David Byrne all taking home a Gold medal. Club gymnast Aislinn Doggett just missed out on a medal by 0.2, coming 4th overall, aswell as Aoife Loughlin performing her personal best tumble runs. Well done to all.

DyNamo gymnasts performed at their best at Celtic Cup, achieving their highest scores to date, Roisin, Sarah and Orla achieved a score of 26:75, a personal best for this trio, while David and Aoibhinn achieved an amazing score of 27.22. The Irish grade 6 team which included David and Aoibhinn secured themselves a bronze medal at Celtic Cup. We are so proud of their routine performances, well done from all at DyNamo.
Best of luck to Roisin Heneghan, Sarah McCormack, Orla McGlinchey, David Bryne and Aoibhinn Darcy as well as the rest of the gymnasts and coaches on the Irish Delegation, who will compete this weekend at Celtic Cup taking place at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Congratulations to Conor Grennan, Pauric O’Reilly, David Bryne and Aoibhinn Darcy, who were selected onto the National Performance Squad for future development at FIG level.This is a new initiative with Gymnastics Ireland, who recently announced Michael Hughes as National Performance Coach to co-ordinate a National Performance Squad Training.
