Congratulations to our gymnasts and coaches for all their hard work and commitment over the last couple of months in preparation for the Irish Squad Trials for Celtic Cup 2015. Best of luck to Megan Cavanagh, Roisin Henehan, Meadhbh Mc Hugh, Aoibhinn Darcy, David Byrne, Carrie Brennan and Cliodhna Davitt who are trialing on the 31st January and 1st February. We are delighted to announce that 9 of our club coaches were awarded their Level 1 Coaching Qualification this week in Acrobatic Gymnastics by Gymnastics Ireland and Coaching Ireland. This is reminder to all gymnasts that term fees are due this week. The fees are to be paid at the start of class.

All the coaches at Dy Namo Gym Club would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Classes will start back from Monday the 5th January 2015. We look forward to seeing all our gymnasts back in the gym.

Congratulations to all our gymnasts who represented DyNamo Gym Club at the Acrobatic National Gymnastics Championships. We had a fantastic weekend with great performances. Well done to Rebecca Friel, Roksana Buller and Anna Flannagan who secured second place in grade 3 women’s groups; and Conor Grennan and Pauric Reilly who came first in the grade 4 men’s pairs. Kate Mc Guinn and Orla Mc Glinchey have now completed Trial 1 and 2 out of 3 Trials to select an Irish Delegation to represent Ireland at the Celtic Cup Finals in Scotland, in March 2014. Well done to all our gymnasts who represented the club at the National Acrobatic Team Trophy event. So much hard work and preparation went into this event and we were so proud of each one of our gymnasts, especially to all who competed at their first nationals.

Congratulations to all our gymnasts who performed so well at our club awards evening. We are so proud of you all. Special congratulations goes to Carrie Brennan who won Gymnast of the Year 2014.
